Referencing organic and man-made goods, such as fruits, vegetables, and post-consumer waste, I create frenetic landscapes of process, such as reproduction, decay, and digestion. These references which are historically still life material. morph into active landscapes of mystery and wonder. They are painted loosely and intuitively, allowing the paint to flow, separate, build, and fade to suggest the entropy of decay and growth.
